Questions
01What is a cloud server?
A cloud server is a virtual server built in minutes with dedicated resources, which you can delete or upgrade whenever you want.
02Which operating systems are available?
Popular Linux distributions, Windows and MikroTik. The full list appears when you create a server.
03How do I create one?
Pick a location and plan in the Telegram bot or the web panel. The server is ready in minutes.
04How does payment work?
Top up your wallet and each server is billed hourly from it. A stopped or deleted server stops costing.
05Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Many plans upgrade without rebuilding the server.
06What support do I get?
Open a ticket from the Telegram bot or the support site and a human answers.

What is a cloud server?
A cloud server, often called a VPS or virtual private server, is a slice of a powerful physical machine turned into an independent server through virtualisation. Its processor, memory and storage are allotted to you, it has its own IP address and you choose its operating system. From the outside it behaves like a real server: you connect, install software and run your services.
The main difference from a physical server is speed and flexibility. A physical server has to be ordered, prepared and usually committed to for a long time. A cloud server is built in minutes, can grow or shrink at any moment, and you delete it when you are done.
How virtualisation works
On each physical machine a piece of software called a hypervisor splits the hardware into several separate virtual servers. Each believes it is a whole computer and does not know about the others. If one fails or comes under load, the rest carry on unaware. That isolation makes a VPS both affordable and dependable.
Versus shared hosting
In shared hosting several sites live on one server and one shared operating system, and you cannot touch the server's settings. On a cloud server the root of the system is yours: install any software, open any port and run any version of a programming language.
Why an hourly cloud server?
Hourly billing means you pay only while the server exists. It cuts the risk of starting. Want to try an idea? Build a server, work for a few hours and delete it if it does not fit. No contract, no commitment, no money locked up in advance.
It suits growing businesses too. Cover a sudden traffic wave, a sales campaign or a one-off event with a few extra servers, then collapse them afterwards. Instead of buying capacity that sits idle most of the time, you use exactly what you need.
Buy a VPS at CloudSnap
CloudSnap puts the virtual servers of many trusted global providers in one place. Instead of signing up with each service, verifying and paying separately and juggling ten panels, you pick a location and plan with one account and one wallet. Prices are read live from the catalogue, so what you see is what is sold. You can see every plan on the pricing page and compare.
Manage from Telegram
The CloudSnap Telegram bot does the daily work: creating servers, reading specs and IP addresses, power actions, restarts, OS rebuilds and wallet top-ups. If you live in Telegram, you never need to open a laptop for a simple restart.
The web panel
For finer work, the web panel shows every server, your transaction history and management tools. Both interfaces share one system, so a change in one appears in the other and you never see two versions of your server's state.
One wallet for everything
Top up the CloudSnap wallet once and every server you build is billed hour by hour from it. A stopped or deleted server stops consuming resources. Your balance is always at hand, with no separate deposit per provider.
Locations and servers abroad
Distance from server to user affects speed and latency. With locations in Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East you can place a server near your audience. For international businesses an overseas server also gives steady access to global services: calling foreign APIs, running development tools and hosting services whose audience is spread over several countries.
Weigh three things when picking a location: closeness to users, the host country's rules and the quality of the network path. If unsure, build an hourly server, test for a few hours, then decide. Testing is cheap with hourly billing and replaces guessing.
Common uses of a cloud server
A cloud server fits a wide range of work. These are the most common.
Websites and online shops
Run WordPress, Laravel, WooCommerce or any web app with full control of resources. You can tune cache, database and web server exactly to your site.
Development and testing
Spin up dev, staging and test environments in minutes and delete them afterwards. Teams can give each code branch a temporary server and pay nothing for idle capacity.
Bots and always-on services
Telegram bots, webhooks and scheduled jobs need an always-on server. A small plan is enough for most, and upgrading is simple when load grows.
Network tools and MikroTik
MikroTik CHR and network operating systems are available for tunnels, routing and testing configurations, ideal for network engineers who want to practise or run without buying hardware.
Game servers
To play with friends, install your game's server software on a cloud server. Dedicated game servers are on their way too.
How to choose the right plan
Choosing a plan comes down to four things, and none is complicated.
Processor
One or two cores are enough for small sites and bots. For compiling, rendering or batch work, more cores pay off.
Memory
Databases, caches and Java apps eat the most RAM. A server that keeps falling back to disk instead of RAM slows down, so when in doubt take more RAM.
Disk
Disk size is for data and logs and its type is for speed. If your app writes to disk a lot, a plan with a faster disk is worth more.
Traffic
Each plan has a traffic cap. For services that ship heavy files or stream video, check this number first.
Security and stability
A cloud server needs securing like any other: keep the operating system updated, replace password login with an SSH key, close unneeded ports and back up your data. If your service is a target, CloudSnap DDoS protection can filter an attack before it reaches the server.
For load beyond what a VPS holds, a dedicated server is the natural next step: a whole machine whose resources you share with nobody. You can start on a cloud server today and migrate as you grow.
